ATLAS DOOR SERIES

A CNC Machine made for the Door Making Industry: CNC Router for Doors

The Atlas Door Making machine is all steel construction providing the rigid foundation required for ultra-smooth routing results. Built for the door industry our new Atlas Door Machine features dual spindles to route door perimeter profile, window openings, hinges, door knob opening and lock set in minutes. The Atlas includes (2) high frequency spindles, 1st is for all vertical routing and the 2nd is a dual shaft spindle for all the horizontal routing. The machine includes a double layer high flow vacuum pod table for elevating the door so that there are proper clearances. Connected to a Rotary vane vacuum pump for securing the door as it is processed. The Atlas is powered by brushless AC Servo digital motors and drives, and is controlled via PC based interface that is intuitive and easy to learn and use. The programming software is designed to allow the end user to drag and drop the desires hinge design / size, window cutout, and door lock set. This software also imports door opening scanned profile which then allows the door perimeter to be shaped exactly to the opening saving installers time and money.

Features

Steel Base

The base frame is fabricated from heavy-duty tubular steel that is welded, stress relieved and precision machined, so that the foundation remains true and steady over the operational life of the machine

Gantry

The gantry is constructed of tubular steel with reinforcing ribs, welded throughout the length of the column, which results in a steady firm beam assembly. This quality engineering and workmanship result in smooth precision cutting

Spindle

The Atlas Door Machine comes standard with high frequency spindles. These precision spindles require no maintenance, use industry standard ER collets, come fully programmable speeds from 6000 to 18000 RPM, and come complete with a vacuum hood and wrenches.a 12 HP HSD high frequency automatic tool changer spindle. This precision spindle requires no maintenance, uses industry standard ER collets and ISO 30 tool holders, is fully programmable with speeds from 6000 to 24000 RPM, and comes complete with a pneumatically retractable vacuum hood.

Drive Train Assembly

Techno CNC Systems uses new-generation precision helical rack and pinion drives with high dynamic performance and accuracy. These pinion drives deliver ultra smooth motion, power, and speed to the equipment. The helical pinion is directly driven by the digital AC servo motor with ultra-quite performance.  The result of this new generation helical drive is superior cut quality, accuracy and machine longevity. This technology allows Techno to build large format machines that deliver speed and accuracy where ball screw driven machines are limited.

Gantry Uprights

The gantry uprights are cast iron with heavy duty gussets formed into the casting. Each support is machined for housing the various drive assemblies including motors, bearings, and wiring harnesses.

Electronics

All the electrical components are housed and wired in a doubled-doored Nema electrical enclosure. This allows for easy access and service when needed. All wiring is tagged so that when service is required, the customer can easily navigate the cabinet. In addition, the cabinet serves as a work bench for the tools.

Vacuum Table

The Techno Atlas Door Machine includes a double layer high flow vacuum pod table

Tool Calibration

Automatic tool calibration pad allows for easy and accurate “Z” zero position.

Elevation Pods

With our new elevation pod option, you can now raise material off of the machine tables surface for easy horizontal drilling and routing. 

Win CNC Controller

The WinCNC interface is a controller system with step jog for fine incremental control, start, stop and pause buttons, single button for safety clearance position, absolute and relative coordinates control, and more.

Enroute Software

EnRoute Fabrication is intuitive CAD/CAM software designed to provide an easy way to create and output files for CNC Plasmas, Waterjet or Lasers. EnRoute Fabrication combines an easy-to-use interface and simplilfied output process
to provide a complete and powerful CAD/CAM solution at a great value
